Title: About read rate tests

Description: Details on how to do a read rate test with the MS-610.

Issue: How to perform a read rate test with our MS-610.

Solution: To begin the read rate test:
 1. Position the label in front of a functioning scanner; enter the <C> command from the host terminal to launch the read rate test.
 2. Observe read rate.
 3. Check depth-of-field (minimum/maximum range) by moving the label closer and further relative to the scanner and noting the points where the read rates fall below a level acceptable to your application. Ideally, the label used in your application should pass through or near the center of the depth-of-field.
 4. Repeat steps 1-3 for other labels used in your application and end the read rate test with the <J> command.
