Issue: How do you reset the settings in the MS-710 back to the factory default?

Solution: There are a couple of ways to set the scanner back to defaults. The first and easiest way is to use the IB-105 junction box. If you look on the front panel, between the power switch and power light, there is a pin hole. Inside the pin hole is a microswitch. To default the scanner, poke a paper clip into the hole. You will hear a series of beeps. Poke a second time within 2 seconds of the first and you will hear a higher tone, long beep.
